We are SO excited about the programs we are offering this summer. We have options for dancers of all ages and levels. Summer is a great time to dance at Mellado Dance Elite.
Registration for all of our summer programs is OPEN! We would love to have your family join us for the summer. Summer is an opportunity to keep the momentum from the school year going, try new things, and have FUN! Themed camps present familiar material in a new, interactive way. A great environment for learning!
Today we wanted to highlight several of our offerings and also help you choose which camp (or camps!) is the best option for your dancer.
FROZEN In The Sun
FROZEN in The Sun Camp is perfect for dancers ages 3-6 that love ALL kinds of dance, crafts, stories, and games. Dancers will try out classes in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre. The week is inspired by your favorite Disney movie, Frozen. This camp meets July 9-13 and August 13-17.
Is this for me?
Is your dancer still singing “Let it Go”? This camp would be perfect! This class is a great way to get exposure to new dance styles and is a great match for students of all levels.
PAW Patrol
Pups Learn to Dance! PAW Patrol camp is for dancers ages 3-6 that are ready for an exciting, adventure-filled week. Dancers will participate in classes in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre, as well as fun crafts, games, and stories about your favorite, fearless pups! PAW Patrol camp meets July 9-13 and August 6-10.
Is this for me?
If your child is looking for a high energy camp and loves adventure, this is the perfect option! This class is a great way to get exposure to new dance styles. A great match for students new to dance or with a few years experience.
Lil’ Ninjas Hip Hop & Break-Dancing Camp
Lil’ Ninjas Hip Hop & Break- Dancing Camp is a boys only camp for ages 3-6. Join a group of boys who love to move and groove in an exciting week full of Hip Hop and Kung Fu fun! Boys will learn basic Hip Hop and Breakdancing techniques, practice their freestyle skills and perform a short routine at the end of the week! This camp meets July 9-13.
Is this for me?
Have a boy at home that loves to MOVE? This is a great option for boys that have never danced before, or have only taken 1-3 years of classes. This is a fast-paced camp that is perfect for active, energetic kids!
Princess and Dragon’s Adventure Camp
Princess and Dragon’s Adventure Camp is for dancers ages 3-6 that LOVE make-believe. Slip on your glass slippers or your cape and armour and try out classes in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre. Enjoy fun crafts, games and stories too! Princess, Knights and Dragon attire is welcomed (please be ensure outfit provides full mobility and does not restrict movement). Join us July 16-20.

Does your dancer love stories? Does the idea of dressing up all week make them smile? Princess and Dragon camp is perfect! Great for dancers of all levels that are looking for exposure to all dance styles.
Trolls Crazy Dance Party
Dancers ages 6-9 are invited to join us July 16-20 and dancers ages 3-6 can join the Troll Crazy Dance Party August 13-17. Expect a week of crazy, zany fun inspired by the new hit movie, Trolls! Dancers are sure to have a blast while participating in dance classes in Jazz, Acrobatics, Hip Hop and so much more!

This camp is going to be non-stop fun! A great match for dancers the LOVE a good dance party. If your dancer is interested in hip-hop, acrobatics, or jazz this camp could be the perfect introduction. Perfect for dancers looking for a fast-paced, high energy environment!
Star Wars: The Last (Dancing) Jedi
Young Jedi’s ages 4-8 will work to master their skills while participating in dance classes such as Hip Hop, Jazz and Acrobatics, as well as fun crafts, games, stories, and much more. Come learn to master the way of the force in a galaxy not so far, far away August 6-10.

Does your dancer also have dreams of saving the universe? World’s collide in this camp! A great introduction to a range of dance styles and perfect for kids that love adventure.
I Wanna Be A Popstar!
Calling all future pop stars ages 7-12! This is YOUR chance to star in a music video. Dancers will not only participate in a range of fun dance classes in styles such as Jazz, Lyrical, Acrobatics and Hip Hop but also get the chance to appear in their very own dance music video. Join us August 6-10.
Is this for me?
If your child LOVES to perform this camp is right up their ally. An opportunity to get in front of the camera and learn about all the effort that goes into preparing for a performance.
Are you ready to enroll? SO many fun options to choose from. Join us for a week or several! Our students are going to have a blast dancing, using their imagination, and meeting new friends. We love putting a twist on dance technique over the summer months. SUCH a fun way to learn.
In addition to the options above, we are also offering several options for our competitive students. We love summer dance at Mellado Dance Elite. Students can immerse themselves into their dancing without the stress and business of the school year. We see SO much growth in our students over the summer months. We hope you will join us for one week or several!
